Brazos Wind Farm

Wednesday, March 4th, 2009   |   Archived, Projects.

This 160 MW wind farm is currently the 14th largest in Texas, which leads the country in wind energy capacity.

Located in Borden and Scurry counties in West Texas, Brazos began operating in 2003.

Brazos was made possible by the past support of Green Mountain Energy customers, consisting of 160 wind turbines that produce enough clean electricity to power over 42,000 homes for a year!
