The N9NE Group, owner of several clubs and restaurants in the Palms Casino in Las Vegas, introduced the BeGreen Ticket today. Patrons now have the opportunity to green up their clubbing and dining experience when they purchase a VIP wristband from the N9NE Group’s website, www.n9negroup.com.
Similar to the BeGreen Fan Tag offered at the Austin City Limits and Lollapalooza music festivals, the BeGreen Ticket for N9NE Group patrons purchases renewable energy to offset emissions from their Vegas activities. A donation of $2.50 is enough to retire 250 kWh of renewable energy, which avoids approximately 332 lbs of carbon dioxide emissions. This has the same environmental impact as NOT driving 370 miles or recycling 817 aluminum cans!
The BeGreen Ticket helps the N9NE Group stand out among so many bars and restaurants in Las Vegas by appealing to increasingly green-minded travelers. A recent study from PhoCusWright, a travel industry group, noted that 44% of travelers consider environmental impact to be important when planning travel. And a full third of respondents would pay a premium for greener travel and tourism. This sizeable group of jetsetters can now add spots like the N9NE Steakhouse and Ghost Bar to their list of eco-friendly places not to be missed.
