This was Green Mountain’s first wind facility built as a result of customer demand for renewable energy.  It first began operating in May 2000.

<p>Located in Borden and Scurry counties in West Texas, Brazos began operating in 2003.</p>
<p>Brazos was made possible by the past support of Green Mountain Energy customers, consisting of 160 wind turbines that produce enough clean electricity to power over 42,000 homes for a year!  </p>
