When you purchase a BeGreen^sm Ticket for this event, we will provide you with 250 kWh of renewable energy certificates to offset approximately 332 lbs. of CO2. Offsetting 332 lbs. of CO2 with renewbale energy credits is like not driving your car about 369 miles.

Your purchase of renewable certificates is supporting renewable electricity production in regions across the U.S. For every unit of renewable energy generated, an equivalent amount of renewable certificates is produced. The purchase of renewable certificates helps offset conventional electricity generation in the region where the renewable generator is located. The purchase also helps build a market for renewable electricity and may have other local and global environmental benefits such as reducing global climate change and regional air pollution.

The product is sold in blocks of 250 kWh. The product will be made up of the following new renewable resources.

Each 250 kWh block of this Green Mountain EnergyA(R) product represents the environmental attributes resulting from the generation of 250 kWh of electricity by renewable energy generators serving the national power grid. These environmental attributes include all fuel source, emissions, air quality and other environmental characteristics and benefits resulting from the generation of energy by the applicable renewable energy resource, excluding any state or federal production tax credits, production tax incentives or production tax grants generated or earned by the renewable resource facility owner. Environmental attributes may be used to offset or reduce the pollution impact of an equivalent amount of electricity generated from the sources used to generate typical system power in the region where the renewable generation facilities are located. Your purchase of this product supports renewable electricity production in the United States. You will continue to receive a separate electricity bill from your utility. The purchase of renewable certificates helps offset conventional electricity generation in the region where the renewable generator is located. For this product, the location of the renewable generation may be anywhere in the continental US. The purchase also helps build a market for renewable electricity and may have other local and global environmental benefits such as reducing global climate change and regional air pollution.

For each BeGreen Ticket that you purchase, Green Mountain ensures that 250 kWh of electricity is generated from 100% new renewable generation facilities and delivered to the national power grid over the course of one year. To verify this delivery, Green Mountain will retire renewable energy certificates on your behalf. These renewable energy certificates will be generated in the calendar year of your purchase, the first three months of the following calendar year, or the last 6 months of the prior calendar year; and will be retired once and only once.

Price and Payment

The price for this Green Mountain Energy product is $2.50 above and beyond any charges paid to the event ticket seller for a ticket to the event.
