The BeGreen online LEED calculator makes it easy to calculate and purchase green-e certified renewable energy credits (RECs) to fulfill your LEED Green Power Credit requirements.

The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating SystemTM  is the U.S. Green Building Council's  certification program and the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction and operation of high performance green buildings.

Each LEED certified building is required to achieve a specific number of points in the following categories: Sustainable Sites, Water Efficiency, Materials and Resources, Energy & Atmosphere and Indoor Environmental Quality. Bonus credits can be earned for process design and innovation.

LEED certification can be achieved at different levels depending on how many points are achieved. Currently, projects can receive certification at the following four levels: Certified, Silver, Gold and Platinum.
