Position Summary: This position will be responsible for full cycle, high-volume   recruiting in the Pittsburgh, PA area, including but not limited to sourcing, interviewing, and screening potential   candidates, as well as administering sales training in classroom and field settings. As a recruiter in this region,   you will be primarily recruiting for sales agents, but will also recruit for other positions as needed. This   position will report to the Pittsburgh Area Sales Manager.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Recruits, interviews, checks references, makes offers, and      conducts orientation
  • Hires high-quality sales agents in line with the      expectations of management
  • Ensures staffing goals are met or exceeded on a monthly      basis
  • Prepares and presents training programs to orient new      hires to Green Mountain, competitive electricity   products, and successful      sales practices
  • Spends time in the field at sales and recruiting events      on a regular basis to obtain a firm understanding   of sales processes and      customer bases
  • Ensures that new and existing hires are equipped with      uniforms, ID badges, and sales materials, and that a   consistent professional      appearance is maintained
  • Develops and implements supplemental learning programs,      as appropriate, to enhance agent knowledge and   skills
  • Utilizes a variety of cost-effective recruiting      sources, including career fairs, college & university   relations, and      online recruiting sites
  • Performs exit interviews
  • Acts as a liaison to Corporate HR department
  • Handles confidential and time-sensitive data
  • Generates weekly recruiting and staffing reports
  • Identifies key characteristics of successful Sales      Agents to aid in recruiting quality candidates
  • Promotes team building through employee programs

  • Required Skills and Experience:

  • Requires 3-5 years of high volume sales recruiting, coaching, sales management, and / or training   experience
  • Familiarity with recruiting practices and online recruiting sites and techniques
  • Advanced communication and professional skills, including experience in both phone and face to face   interviewing
  • Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Requires experience in handling confidential data
  • Reliable transportation
  • Familiarity with Western Pennsylvania municipalities
